Ive suggested this but he doesnt have the time or space.

Is undoubtedly repairable but dunno if he will be happy knowing its a Cat D. Plus hes been looking at the B6 Convertible so that'll probably be his replacement.

You lot are mad, wheels are epic btw.

Could you not sort it out or even get it back for some one els to sort be a shame for it to get sent to the yard

Doubt it'll get sent to any scrap yard, theres a few people on the alpina register that have enquired about it so I imagine it'll be rebuilt just not by us.

Dont you's have to get it back then sell it on because im sure when its left to insurance companys they just send them to the yard.

There's an (older) BMW at work with Alpina badges on the boot and "Bi Turbo", always wondered wth it was as the badges looked a bit "stuck on" if you know what I mean.

After reading this thread I guess they're good then?

Depends on the model not all of them were Bi-Turbo's No idea why the guy has put it down as a 335i tbh as its not a 335i at all.

Yea fantastic car, savagely fast, never did update this thread but after he got the pay out for the black one he bought this










had the wheels and kidney's done black though

This. If you are going to buy a car, and leave it on your drive to look good... you deserve shooting. Unless its dry stored and has a good run every now and then, not driving it could be worse for the car!
