I don't know how a vapouriser works so I can't comment.

An atomiser works by soaking up the nicotine solution via a wick, around which is wrapped a wire which can withstand very high temperatures. A current is passed through the wire, making it glow red hot, which generates enough heat to evaporate the nicotine solution into a vapour which you then inhale.

It's all the fun of smoking without the known carcinogens. That's not to say using an ecig isn't bad for you as well, it probably is, but it's significantly less bad for you than smoking an 'analogue' cigarette, so to speak.

What about that one? Looks like a fag and take liquid i think, can't see its variable voltage though.

A vapourizes just uses heat, can be a hot plate to heat bud up until the THC releases, then you breath that in from a bag or can get portable ones, it basically doesn't combust the bud so you get the chemical that gets you stoned but no smoke/tar etc

I would strongly advise you to get past the "looks like a cigarette" thing - it will only lead to disappointment in my experience. There just isn't enough space in a cigarette-sized form factor to put the best vapouriser technology in.

You don't have to go all out and buy one that looks like a lightsabre handle - the eGo Tanks are tried, tested and really quite small (more cigar sized, I guess) but so much better than the ones that look like cigarettes.

The clearomiser is a clear tank surrounding a cartomiser with a hole punched in it, through which the liquid is wicked - generally a single use disposable item; eventually the coil will burn out and you'll need to buy another one. Some clearomisers do have a replaceable atomiser.

The tank system has no wick - the eliquid sits in a reservoir directly above the atomiser, keeping the atomiser wet and more liquid trickles down onto the atomiser as you vapourise it (I prefer tanks to clearomisers/cartomisers - generally anti-wicks unless they're stainless steel and I've made them myself). It is kind of repairable in that you should only have to replace the atomiser part (until the rubber seals and things start to perish then you'll need to buy a new tank as well):

For either a clearomiser/tank the atomiser itself usually lasts about a month - depends how often you use it and if you crank the voltage up all the time if you've got a variable voltage battery or let it run dry.

Report back on how it is - I've never heard of this brand before but it all seems to be well-reviewed and kosher. I use a Pro-Vari and a Cobra Genesis rebuildable atomiser myself.

Yeah, i find it just as good, not sure why i bothered to smoke at work really, didn't seem to enjoy it and quickly threw it away after a few puffs.

I smoked when i got home though, but going to find a way of not smoking tobacco with joints. i need a vaporizer now, might have to get one
