Contemporary perfection?
this, apart from the gay light up brake light badge.
the aston looks massively bulky, the lfa looks computer generated.
the viper just looks like a proper old fashioned car. sitting on the rear wheels, long bonnet, short overhang.

The viper looked old and ancient compared to the other 2.

Mick Fleetwood who was passionately talking about his Austin boring? OK Ben, need to lay off huffing the nail varnish whilst the tweezers are out!

Just watched it, really good episode, always like the road trip ones.
I prefer it when they use old second hand cars on a budget though.

On a MK I Escort yes. On a Plymouth Roadrunner or a '69 Camaro, again yes.
On many other appropriate cars, yes indeed of course.
But on an Aston Martin. NO. Not even a brand new one.
Someone wants shooting in my humble opinion.
Aston Martins should be...
Silver (007)
Black (Plain mean and hard as nails, plus also 007ish)
BRG of some kind (good old fashioned, plain and simple, British racing heritage)
Bright fuck-off blue is just plain wrong on that car and is in appalling taste.
Like turning up to the table in the restaurant at Claridges wearing a pink Lame dinner jacket.
It's just not on.

The Vanquish is the absolute nuts! Absolutely love these! Seen a couple about and they sound utterly awesome!
The Lexus I'm not a huge fan of, but it sounded awesome I have to say!
Best bit of that episode? Not even a car! Seeing that plane!!!!!!! Fucking amazing!

I think the aston looks great. only thing that lets it down for me are the wheels. think they are awful. they look like the cheap vxr copy wheels.

Exactly this, great colour but it didn't work for me on that car.
Neither did the black on the SRT10 and the LFA is just hideous
I'll take my SRT10 with the LFA engine in the Aston colour please.
