We are still bitter towards the French after the world cup.

Predictions for today's game? I hope Ireland edge it. Definitely going to be one of the top games this tournament

On paper we've more than enough to beat the Irish. But it's England so it's never simple!

hes a fucking beast, but that stamp was ridiculous. believe me this happens in ever ruck. punches and stamping (i speak from experience after playing one of the dirtiest sides of our season on saturday)

he should have been sent off for it. being that it was right infront of the ref!

Pleased with that result, Wales took that comfortably. Still room for improvement though.

Good result that; good squad and substitution selection. Would have been nice to see less mistakes but last 20 minutes was good

Not sure, Wales will put up a tough opposition. Losing that match would put us level on points assuming both Wales and England win their next matches so it'll be a do or die for Wales

Scotland will beat wales at Murrayfield imo. I think an English grand slam is the only outcome now they have disposed of the French.

After that performance, Wales will win. I hope they sort out their discipline this week otherwise Wales being on form and with a home crowd, it'll only go one way.

Italy played much better IMO, defended brilliantly in the first half and attacked in the second. England just didn't seem to be able to finish anything or run with the ball.

there was only one factor that nearly lost us the italy game, and i hate to blame it on one person. Toby Flood. hes not been in the team, he missed a few chances to make touch early on and this set a president for the whole game.

farrell plays with a flair and personally id have played freddie burns at 10. hes having a blinder of a season and personally id prefer him to flood.

Italys forwards are there strong point and orquerra at 10 is the best fly half theyve had for years. plus parisse being back for the game was a shock for the team. he could play in any team in the world. this was also a factor. god knows why lancaster played vunipola instead of marler. i also think theyres question marks over alex goode.

wales will be rubbing there hands together after sunday but if we cant get fired up for a grand slam game and the prospect of beating the taffs in their own back yard, nothing ever will. there was no celebration after the italy game and quite rightly, i think ther lads know they got off lightly. now the work starts.

ive got faith in us

I actually thought the one who stepped up was Toby Flood. Chris Ashton did nothing to calm the team down and get them playing as a team. Flood seemed to try and unite the team, Danny Kerr was a bit of a let down as well, lots of silly mistakes and that kick that lead to Italy's try was ridiculous-he'd had a reasonable game until then

ashtons had an awful tournament definitely. yeah and danny care had an average game. and that kick was un defendable.

hes great for exploiting space around the rucks and bringing the forwards in. he'll get more chances for sure but for the minute ben youngs needs to start against wales

Its going to be interesting to see how England come out on Saturday, the pressure of bringing home the grand slam seemed to be showing against Italy. They are a very young/new team compared to the Welsh squad who have the experience to deal with the pressures associated with these big deciding matches.

I also hope Leigh Halfpenny's wobbler on the kicking front against Scotland was just a one off too. That cost us 9 points!
