I was at the Belfast Beer and Cider Festival recently - they let you try before you buy. If its the same where you're going you'll be fine.

Went to the one in olympia or earls court (cant remember) last year:
these are the ones i wrote down before i started sinking more Can't remember the brewers though
vanilla stout - nice
smelters stout - eww
mayday cider - nice
cathedral - ok
dark arts - wow (can't remember if wow meant good or bad )
no 9 barley wine - STRONG but was nice
The no.9 finished my mate off, yacked up in the exhibition centre and we practically had to drag him home when we were done 
tried more than that but can't remember the rest.

FYI i am setting up a mail order ale website (already a couple about) and will be able to send you 36/72 pints in a polypin/bag in box of pretty much any ale you can think of to your door!
