but ur ISP will still have a range of Ip's and the isp can trace you back with a date and time.

i have a lil know menthod of getting information *wink wink*

im probly gona get a few slaps for this but i used to hack them lil skuznerds in zone.com (i was a modorator n all, they gave me the software, when i left, i never gave back the cd's hehe)

BTW a virus running through kazaa is infecting every .exe file you d/l

w32/hllp.handyman

not a nice one either.

www.symantec.com has the removal procedure.

What exacully did they do?

I got attacked 900times in 24 hours. They didnt get in, but i just left it be.

Maybe we should have a change the frontpage of CorsaSport competition

To be honest, home pc's rarely are targetted attacks. More likely a scanner went past your machine and just had a look... very common especially on broadband networks...

Even the ISP's themselves portscan for open webservers/ftpservers, etc...

You peeps with firewalls are just to paranoid.

Expect to have other computers try to connect to your computer all the time, its nothing special.

it was an internal torjan off kazaa.

Dont even use one now,

To be honest I'd be impressed if someone just gave me the version numbers of the software running on here and the operating system distribution/kernel versions...

right ok, seeing as a few lads who know alot about pc's are posting on this thread. ive had a problem with accessing hotmail or msn and some other "secure sites" at home. when i enter may details e.g. password and email address it just says page cannot be displayed...

nah thats not possible. ive phoned them and talked to my uncle and they said play around with the security settings but i dont really know wot im doing

Well, it's only on secure sites you get the problem yeah?

Who's your ISP? Are you on dial up or broadband of some sorts? Do you know if you go through a proxy server at all?
