Former England manager Graham Taylor at Old Trafford on BBC Radio 5 live:
"This pitch is in a real terrible condition. It is one of the poorer ones in the Premier League.

"You could see that with a cross from Phil Neville that went horribly wrong as it took a bobble."

what have you got to say about that steve? machester reds' pitch way below premier league standards

It's been replaced within the last 10 years. Pretty sure the pitches get fully replaced every season. Every season United's pitch is shit.

Not every season it isn't, and just because Arsenal have award winning pitches. Not like you stand any chance of winning other things!

Utds pitch has been shit the last few seasons. This is probs the earliest it's happened in a season tho.

If any other team had a pitch like OT, Fergie would be whining like a bitch.

I've not heard much comments from the people who were calling Gareth Bale overrated a few months back He's a one man goal machine at the moment.

Scored in the last 3 games against 'ok' opposition.

Single handedly carrying Spurs to the Champions League.

Stelling is well wide of the mark saying he is better than Ronaldo though, he isn't and never will be despite being in red hot form just now.

You'd think he would have learnt from last season. And there was at least one other season when he's done it too and we didn't win. He's a tool.

Can see us either battering them tonight or losing in a shit 0-1 game. Literally depends on who turns up.

Enjoyed the Utd game, thought Everton looked good untill the second goal, then they switched off and defended...

I honestly can see City dropping out of top four. No desire, out of form.

Uniteds current team is far from great, but they are desperate to get that title back, and they've got RVP. Thats the difference this season.

It's the way he's scoring. Picking it up in his own half and running rings round opponents before hammering it home. There is absolutely no doubt he will never be better than Ronaldo, simply for the fact he doesn't have the talent. But he is up there with the top players and is getting better all the time.
