I withdrew it because it was rapidly descending into an Internet expert thread.
I can see the car, I know the paint is decent. Sorry I broke Protocal and took pics on the Feburary afternoon I picked it up on. I also used my camera phone and didnt photoshop it
So as pics where in the thread, I deleted it as it was pointless
Also Alan, you can agree or disagree all you like, but trying to say it looks shit when it clearly isn't is just plain rude man. You don't have to like it, I don't expect everyone to like a 14year old square BM. But there are rather more constructive and less ridiculous ways of voicing that opinion
Anyway, why the fuck are you all bothered seriously

Yeah I realise white wouldn't have been the best. I still stand by the fact it would look decent but I just think it wouldn't have been special. And as odd as a colour making it look newer I don't think white would have helped!
Thanks for good words. I am chuffed to bits.
Headlights will be on ASAP as the ones pictured are old pitted and green in the flesh. New xenon build v2.0 will be in ASAP!!

I thought it looked well The only thing I suppose which was kind of negative that I agreed with was the M3 badge spacing I did agree with Rich and think it was a tiny bit too big a gap lol

I like it in red. Looks loads better than white which will go out of fashion.
Not a great fan of bmws full stop to be honest, but yours looks 100 times better now than in black.
And the obvious you can't tell how good a paint job is from a picture. Only in the flesh.

Yeah M3 badge appears to be off which I am a tad annoyed as I offered to provide factory spacing measurements but he assured me he would do it fine lol.
Oh well it's not major and easily fixable!

I think you need to re-read what I wrote. You've clearly thrown your toys out the pram so don't ask us why were bothered when it bothers you so much.
And on the contrary I love the E36 shape and the M3 will always be one of my favourite cars. I suppose I just had higher expectations of a 'Fresh' paint job. As long as your happy then great, but I also won't suck your dick saying it's amazing when in my opinion it isn't. If you don't like it then don't post. Simple.

I don't think it looks a bad colour, but I also don't think even something fresh out of the shop will look as good in the UK in February will look as good as one in California in June.
I said the same in the thread about choosing colours.
Not sure its worth falling out over. That's pretty much what was said in that thread. Fresh paint or not it would look better when the sun is out.
That isn't breaking protocol or any other toy/pram comment, its just an observation about the weather.
You are right about post-processing things to look better though.
