Yeah always seems to happen that the tyre rubs on the coilovers, spacers will sort it though.

That's the wheels I'm using for road mine are now anthracite.

The coilovers you have are the same as mine. Ive never had a problem with the tyres catching the coilovers. On the coilovers where they bolt up the top hole is elongated to adjust the camber are you sure you havent set it with too much camber??? And remember to go and get camber and tracking set up properly or it will drive like a dog.

i just had a look mate they look the nuts

and thanks!! ive sorted out the rubbing now, but ive noticed ive left the rubber buffers out of my coilovers so im gunna have to take them off and re do it, the only thing i have realised is that there 2 different sizes . is it suppose to be like this?

if know mate, but the coilovers are currently fitted im taking it to a local garage that was suppose to be letting me use there car jack so i can get and underseal it, looks like theyll be looking at theese instead!!

right good news and bad news.. good new is that the coilovers are all fitted lovely . bad news is i put the car in for a pre MOT today and some serious welding has to be done £500 worth!! i spose thats what comes with a £500 19 year old car.. so its all booked in for tuesday the 13th march! also got my vx power inlet box today!! pics to follow!! ..

how hard are the inlet box's to fit? i know they come with instructions but i dont want to get myself in too deep, would it be better getting someone else to do it?

yeah mate i know there are only around 90 gsi's left in the country so this will be brought back to its former glory!! after ive got the welding and that done more parts will be on their way . getting the vx power inlet box fitted on the weekend and hopefully do a little wire tuck to make the bay a little neater also been looking at dbilas cams and vernier pulleys next, but im looking for alloys first!! thanks for all the messages!

sorry about the lack of updates, ive had nothing but a ballache fitting my power inlet box!! im am working my way round all the problems and will have it finised tomorrow hopefully so some nice pics will be up loaded

nope there fine chris! its the rear sills and the rear drivers spring mount and a few other bits will be like brand new after wards and the real work can start

thanks chris!! well today has been a good day!! have finally finished fitting the vx powerinlet box on my c16xe.. a right ball ache but its now done!! :clap: surprised me how much better the throttle respose is and i can notice it pull abit more! not to forget the awesome sound it gives from the engine bay!! . here a pic of it all done..



gave her a wax and a nice clean toay aswell!!







will be going lower at the weekend and will then updates will stop for a week or so as the welding will be happening on monday!! hope you like the pics!!

ben if you have the x14 or x16 do it!! its amazing!! sounds better, better throttler response and feels like theres more torque! i put it on the c16xe and was a nightmare fitting having to swap bit here and there, i paid £120 for it brand new online and reccomend it
