No way man, search for Piper on ClioSport it's renown as being one of the best made plus I want as quiet/subtle as possible... so a Yozza definitely isn't for me.

This. Don't think they make PE2's any more though, I had them on mine, was amazing!! Mate had cheepo tyres on his Impreza WRX, I out handled him at Cadwell Park, he was amazed how well it handled.

V2's are meant to be good as well so as long as there not ditch finders you can at least use it to it's full potential
They not make them anymore Andy no?

Few mates have and have had these, there epic little cars so much punch and out the box performance. Surprises a lot of cars to when I've been out and about with them.
From what I've heard can get some good drivable power out them to

Mates 172 was supercharged, standard internals made 262bhp. Smashed boxes for fun though.

I'm looking at them now only looking to pay 2.5k for an 04 FF that's had the belts done but the decent ones are still strong at 3k
I sold my 04 FF in black 2 years ago for £4300 with 44k. Hold there prices well.

Anyone want to put a £value to mine - I have seen them varied so much I have no idea. Its a 52 reg 172 (phase 2). Std spec, 113k on clock, 2 owners, full service history, recent clutch, cambelt, dephaser, serviced, new brakes all round.
Thinking of putting it up for sale to buy a more family friendly car and have no idea what to ask.

This Gordini one is around the corner from me
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=281079888628&kw=281079888628
Seems to be priced quite high IMO and doesn't sound like he will accept something like £3300. Looks a mint example though! There's a low mileage black one like I used to have on EBay that I could get for under 3k so might settle for that.

Love that blue on these clios really stands out, only thing is doesn't have the xenon headlights on, although he does say in the description it does :-/ still that looks a nice example

You have got me thinking now. Ive just got a quote on a 182 and i would only pay about £4 a month more for that than my 1.4 sport with coilovers and my alloys on.lol sounds like a no brainer. At least it would handle well without uprated suspension and speed bumps would be possible and id actually have some acceleration.lol only thing different is the tax would be nearly double a year but the clio would be twice as much fun to drive. Not sure about reliability though.

My corsas only on 33k with full service history and hasent needed anything in two years. Well it had a used battery for a tenner and a clutch cable(hadent snapped but would have) so ive spent £50 mantainance in two years. My mate had a 172 cup and he nailed it for years and never really needed anything other than tyres and brakes but you expect that really.

Probably ticked wrong box on eBay. It's a cup so shouldn't have xenons anyway.
Just got one in at work today for repairs on roof and a new bonnet, makes me want another!!

You'd think you were in a sports car with the difference from a 1.4 sport to a Clio sport. It was one of the best handling hot hatches around when they come out and they shift when you give them a handful. If I worked nearer to home and didn't need a diesel car I'd of been really tempted by one. Inside isn't great but still nice but the out the box performance is is great
