You can't just limit your gambling. you need to stop fully.

EXCLUDE yourself from ALL online bookmakers you're with, and don't go to damn Doncaster , where you WILL gamble

Its a Family day out and has been booked/paid for months. I cant really get out of it. I have not had a bet since this thread so all is well atm

Sounds stupid, but for the last few months I couldn't go 15 mins without being on a betting site.

Thanks for everything guys.

Limit yourself and do not take your cards.

Seriously though mate, you need to stop altogether, and you really need to exclude yourself and tell your missus. If you don't you'll stop for a few weeks, then when it's payday again you'll think a cheeky tenner won't hurt, and it'll then turn into the same problem.

People always say I have a gambling problem.

I completely disagree. I can bet fortunes over a few weeks, then completely stop for months and not bet a penny. I don't see it as an addiction, but I can see why they think it. If gambling is something you enjoy, then set yourself a maximum allowance, and do it as a hobby. People spend £100 a week drinking. If you don't do that, and can justify it then carry on imo.

I wont go to the casino unless I have a minimum £200 in my pocket. Does that mean I have an addiction?

I only do lottery now on direct debit. And when I lose I just think of it as giving to charity.

I consider myself same as you Dan, won't call myself addicted.

Bills are paid, family is fed, baby is fine. Spare money goes gambling.

If you know your limits it's fine but as soon as you cross them you've got a problem.

I wonder with there are more people now with gambling problems than say 10 years ago? So many bookies on the street now and raymondo popping up every HT with the live odds

Keys was being a cunt about betting earlier, claiming that the Blue square bet premier was a double interest and insinuating that they were encouraging match fixing, and saying that gambling is a horrible insidious habit. They then had the bet butler on telling us his tips and really trying to make people bet.

Yea them bets that pop up at half time etc are purely out to make money.

Always post next goal scorer odds, which is a market that makes plenty of cash for them.
