Rentons front was the same as mine and also jambo - Merseyspeed

SteveW's was a custom jobbie from turismo styling and was a mashup of civic and corsa bits

The orange one was indeed RichH's of Midas styling, for those who remember that firm and the general scandal around it

Incidently thats where the thunder corsa was done

im so sad i remember all this stuff, but as has been said, this was what we were brought up with, it was so cool back in the day

Im on a proper memories weekend after doing the loft Some of the mags Donnas car was in, write ups I done, 5th Gear, More mags, good weekend for me

I've not got any of his, but his foam arches and bonded on shopping trolly spoiler was indeed one of the epic things of this forum, but not in a good way Didn't he have like a mail order bride too? Lemmie search Ian Chans Fotki if its still alive.

I never knew about the whole Midas thing really, but I do remember Rich when he had his black Corsa with Pug headlights, was pretty mad in the day (was on CS stand at Trax 2001 I think when we were on the concrete).

Its sad for the kids these days, but for us all, it was utterly epic and I don't regret it at all. Could have done a lot worse things in life as youngsters

Lee, jambo's LET was silver. That looks like a girls called Stacey but there were plenty of blue psg corsas around.

And for the person who wants to replicate scrivs red one, do some research in it first

Matter of opinion that This whole site was born on cars like this. Times have changed.

Car shows were much better, everything was different at least, not just plan GSi kits and everything looking exactly the same.

Car scene was much bigger and much better for it (and worse).

Car mags had variety and were a good read, not everything looking the same. Times were goood.

[Edited on 31-03-2013 by Daimo B]

The whole modified scene isn't what it was is it 'modifying' a car to make it look like a variant of that car is just boring.

Indeed, its good seeing spotless cars, its how I wanted mine to be, but sometimes variety is good (spice of life n all that).

And it was also quite comical finding really bad cars and joking about them adding additional comedy value to shows

Times change though, one minutes your playing a Sega Mega Drive, next minutes your playing a Playstation3 But secretly you always would love to go back and play your Mega drive

I can totally appreciate the work that goes into these cars but personnaly I've never liked any big body kit on a Corsa. I think it ruined them. I know the gsi kit is overdone now but I've had a gsi kit on all my corsa's even my first one I had when Corsa sport first started along time ago when big bodykits were all a rage. The only other front I liked was an air dam.
Only my personal opinion that is
