Once you have seen the interior of an aygo/c1/107 and then go and sit an up! You'll write off buying an aygo etc. the interior and build of them is shit. VW Up is alot better quality with decent spec and a solid feel, enough poke and 55 mpg should be no probs. We have done 7k in our high up now and liking it, heated seats elec windows/mirrors, satnav and lots of other stuff like bluetooth, economy graphs etc on the nav. 350 quid extra gets you cruise and rear sensors aswell. Its a good buy.

It would be a bit weird. You could say you were entering yourself

On the topic of the Adam, I had a sit in one at the local Vaux dealer while waiting for some parts, and let's say you'd have to have no legs at all to sit in the back I put the driver's seat where I would have it and there must have been about 100mm between the back of the seat and the rear bench. And I'm only about 5' 10".

Saw one at the supermarket the other day, very smart little cars I think. Looks nice inside too, just no leg room in the back, but that's to be expected really.

Much more expensive and a completely different car altogether.

Fair enough, I wouldn't be paying anymore than an UP, C1 for one.

They look great the Ups.

Drove a 500c this weekend and fucking loved it.

Also tempted to buy a new car to "save" money but for me it would be a Zoe!

One of my old colleauges has just got an up!, the basic one for £79 a month, great fun for basically free motoring.

i often think like this, but really its a false economy, you are far better off just enjoying your main car and using the money you saved not buying the new car to keep your old car going.

I can't imagine your BMW will need much spent on it tbh. Just the odd over £500 bill every year or two

eh?

We prob spend about 6-700 a month on fuel at the moment... it would save us money.

Petrol is cheaper, it does double the mpg so would cost less than half to run. Tax is a non event, so its just the purchase price/lease and the insurance... If the car cost us around £150 a month to own I think it would be a saving

£79 a month for an Up? Where from and do you know what the initial payment was?

Jim mine is bonkers money to fix. Plus what I was reffering to is an Electric car. This means the £200 odd I spend on juice a month, would instead pay the 0% finance on a new electric car that would cost me £6 a month to drive to work in So instead of pissing money on fuel, I will at least get a small return on it when in a few years I will have a car I can sell

Just the battery lease thats a bit shit.
