cheers guys, tbh i wasnt a massive fan of them but living with it day to day its just awesome, night an day between the old vxr.
i agree with the astra mk3 gsi, they where awesome to look at the c20xe where just amazingly quick for the time !
the power is around 330bhp but they couldnt roll an road it properly they just made sure the fuel to air was ok, once its done a few thou it will go back for a power run

Lovely. I'd agree about the wheels though, they are nice but not sure they entirely suit the car/colour.
Also at MK3 Astra being the best.

I think the mk4 gsi was nicer than the mk3 and was turbocharged!!!
The wheels are nice on the vxr but its very high standard an the 20's look lost, now mine is lowered abit the wheels do make sense

Mk3 looks terrible - GSi or not.
Might have been better in its time but its so incredibly dated now.

You egotistical moron. The GSi is the finest motorsport derivative ever to grace the UK car market and all you can do is mock it.
MK3 Astra was stunning and fast.

I stick by my opinion, when you guys were fitting body kits and trying to be mr popular by sticking fancy things on a shitty car, i thought it was shitty then and i still do.
Now everyone seems to have that opinion.
One day you will see through these things, tbh this time its the wheels and finishing touches that have made the new astra look a bit cheaper, its actually quite nice apart from the items that appeal to the same people who fitted bodykits 10yrs ago.
The Mk3 was well designed, things were in proportion and it didn't need a spoiler on a spoiler or wheels similar to something found on Jagcorsa or UV corsa.
I'm not being mean about your new car, its a nice car.

we live in a different world compared to when the mk3 astra gsi was designed.
gone are the days of boxy wagons and in are slashes on bodywork, oversized bumpers and big wheels. this looks a million times better than the equivalent focus/megane/whatever else there is.

There's nothing stopping anyone taking the spoiler off if thats the one thing they don't like, I think it would look less chav straight away.
Shame having to do that to a brand new car but then again the people who buy one of these are the sort of people who will like it, hence this chap already doing remaps and exhausts.

isnt the additional spoiler an option extra or part of a package or something

I have nothing to do with trends tbh, although i wanted a technics record bag once for school, ended up with some cool sports rucksack that no one had because they fall to bits.
So really astra = technics bag, Corrado = sports bag
