Well the nightmare continued until yesterday
I had been chasing the finance in writing all week which as a customer I shouldn't have todo. Eventually got the sales manager who understood my concerns and offered a full tank of fuel and corporate hospitality at BMW events
So start to feel better to find when the finance comes through they have reduced the annual mileage to make the figures work, so they haven't honoured the deal. After a few calls they have now honoured the mileage and reduced the car by 1k lol
So now this car is costing just over 23k brand new with a better than average part ex value for our current car
So overall very happy but been quite a nightmare week

I love the new 1 Series M Sport, especially in that lightish blue colour.

whitter45 - any of your 1 Series ever had the DSC light come on? Dads has and looking on the internet it isn't a cheap fix. About £1400, unless he gets assistance from BMW. Which he hopefully will. Although a 57 plate its done sub-20k.

my cousin had a problem to do with the traction control on his 1 series. Think his was an 08 plate. BMW contributed quite a bit towards the cost of having it replaced, cost a similar amount to what you're talking about

Nice, I do like these, although there are more white cars on the road than red/silver these days. Would have gone for the dark grey myself.

Reading all 12 pages of the thread I originally found (and whitter45 pointed me to towards, cheers ) it seems there is now a repair kit for £400-ish.
