In answer to your question, I do mix up my routine.

Some lads are in there for 1 1/2 hrs but all they are doing is spotting for their mates in groups of 3. Just seems pointless, I do 40 mins with 30 seconds between sets.

Are you progressing in weight? how many reps/sets? why no compound lifts? why no leg work? Are you doing all that every time you go to the gym, and if so, why?

All that is more important that whatever supplements you're on

Yes i'm progressing in weight, I usually do the heaviest weight I can do 10-14 reps with, then sets til failure.

I dont do them all at the same time no, I usually do shoulders and back with biceps and triceps then chest and stomach with biceps and triceps.

No reason why I've never done compound lifts, at least in the form of squats.

No leg work because my job involves using my legs and knees for around 9 hours of the day, my legs are strong from sports too.

I only leave the gym when I really cant push any more reps out.

Should just do,

Back and biceps (using your biceps to pull doing back)
Chest and triceps (using your triceps to push doing chest)
Shoulders and traps
Legs and stomach

Your legs wont get bigger walking about a factory and youll be surprised how strong your legs arent when it comes to doing them at the gym.

95% of the guys i see at the gym never do legs, only upper half.

I say no leg work but occasionally I will do some extensions and the leg press. just not very often. I dont just walk round the factory I lift compressors and fridge units in and out of frames, they weigh about 250kgs each and there's 4 of us usually lift them.

Unless the fridges are getting progressively heavier each week then your legs won't get any bigger

There's no real reason I couldnt have it with water. I've adjusted my diet now to cope with not having one before I go to the gym. I also have 2 scoops of protein about 10 mins after my session.

So thats roughly a 65kg deadlift a couple of times a day?

Pull ups
Squats
Deadlifts
Cleans
Bent over row
Bench

That is all you need imo.
