I found it interesting that he said they did what they did because they were bored and had nothing to do but surely there is more for a child to do now than say, the 80's.

Agreed but also i think it has a lot to do with kids growing up too quick. At their age they should be out mucking about in some woods or something, not stealing bikes!

You didn't grow up with people like these have and in an area like they have though.

Also there were people like this in the 70s and 80s too. People love to hark back to "the good old days"

My favourite part was the fella who'd spawned SEVEN FUCKING KIDS with his bovine missus...

''seems like every time we fuck, we end up with a kid''

I'd say that was 100% down to how easy older cars were to steal tbh. It was quite an accessible crime back then.

But there were no bad kids to commit crime int good ol days...

Theres always been poor areas and in those poor areas there has always been high crime and a high amount of that crime was commited by young people. It didnt start in 1997.

We'll probably hark back to the early 2000s one day and say "those were the days, when kids respected thier elders and you could leave your door unlocked etc etc

I'd say most of us are middle class and have our parents to thank that we aren't in that situation, its nothing to do with us being better than them

Not a chance im middle class, i was brought up on a council estate for most of my life. I was lucky in the fact i had parents and a family that taught me manners and the ethics of working hard. I could easily have gone the way of some of the people on there, certainly grew up around some dodgy kids and families but knew right from wrong and my parents were good role models.
