You'll need to remove heat shields as a minimum really

i found the main bits where rust had formed was around the studs where things bolted on.
Like my subframe mounting, so subframe had to come off, and the heatshield studs.

tbh i got fed up with it, ended up slapping shite on with a paintbrush and decided if it rusts then its rusts and i will deal with it when it becomes an issue like a hole in the floor.
Cars rust and there isn't really any stopping it unless you don't drive the car everyday and enjoy spending more time under it than in it.

Indigo GT are currently doing a deal. 4500 mile service+underseal for £199. For that price it's not even worth doing it yourself.

Yeah, the sort of job i'd pay someone else to do.
I spent ages coating my hubs, subframe, roll bars, brake calipers, wishbones etc, I paid for 2 bits to be properly done and after 4months, its only the professional done stuff that hasn't rusted through.
Feck knows what i've done wrong but a bit piffed off, seems i wasted lots of time and money there.

Scoobyclinic offer an Underseal "bolt on" to their services too. It's the sort of job I find to be quite therapeutic but if there is some magical science to it like 3CM has found, it's probably something I'd pay for if I felt the car properly needed it.

think its because i did all my painting in the middle of winter, freezing cold and damp, but i just wanted the car back on the road.
Should get a photo of it now, you'd think i had done nothing to it

In an Evo wouldn't you need another service on the way home when covering that kind of mileage?

Obviously it's a job you and a few mates can do on a Sunday, piece of piss but for the sake of £199, it's not worth bothering.

Do you plan on keeping the full Ralliart SH on it?? Or will you be doing the jobs yourself at J.P.D Motorsport??
