Cheers guys. Chris thats silly money, Most kits go for around £400 depending on colour, Talking another £200 or so for the wide track however.
Simon, Most likely a 172 that hasn't been cut for a exhaust, then eventually go for a 182 style exhaust to be different.
Is it KTR that do a 182 style exhaust for the 172? Might be able to adapt one of those to fit the dirty diesel?

Chris I guess prices have dropped since then. Cheers.
Simon, yeah I've seen that, not cheap though! I'll most likely get a full system custom made, it only needs a small silencer being diesel.

Long update for not a lot really.
Week or so ago the car clicked over 153k, meaning I've done 10k miles in the car since Jan, without fault, Winnar.
Went to Cliosport Saturday at Duxford.
Then last night, Stripped out the rear.
Seemed to go a bit better without all the extra weight, Not sure on the handling though.
It was in aid of collecting this lot..
As you can see, got straight into stripping it into bits to refurb it all, replace bushes (with poly obviously!) and make it mint.
You may have noticed above, a lower front grill at last... Quickly got that fitted.
Yes, Monkey is still behind there, and I still need a upper grill, soon though...
That about brings this up to date, In no rush to get the wide track stuff fitted, I want to get it all perfect with all new bits first. Then finish the 172 styling, before moving onto Intercooler and De-cat.

Big update.
Firstly, short shifter turned up, this is a whole stick, plus gearbox linkage piece.
Yesterday my polybush kit turned up
Welded in the sleeves (filled insides after)
Braided lines also came, Went for these due to the stainless ends.
Planned to get the old front end setup off tonight, and refit the new one tomorow, insted I got carried away, and nearly finished it tonight.
So, started by getting front bumper off, bit more room plus protects it.
Then wheels off, calipers dismounted, shocks unbolted and shafts popped out the gearbox.
As if by magic, the subframe was off. This was a complete tard, out of the 4 main bolts holding it to the body, three, the peices of tin holding the nut in the chassis broke, meaning I had to fuck about getting a socket & spanner in there.
At this point, I noticed I'm glad I didn't order the steering rack bushes from Renault... There isn't any!
New meets old, swapping rack.
New one going on, lower arm on, hub, driveshaft, motoring along.
Brakes on, Braided lines on. Braked bleed up super easy.
I then got the shocks on, realised the ABS sensors won't plug in, wheels back on, gearbox refilled, and lowered it down.
All I have left to do is do the tracking, as you may notice, serious amounts of toe out, bumper back on, test drive!

Wheels still don't stick out far enough although I do have a huge amount of camber for std items, Spacers ordered anyway.

Camber and tracking set, road tested.
Looks much better now its not got 3degrees neg camber!
Roadtest highlighted it needs a wheel bearing (Couldn't tell off the car), also I might change the camber from 1.5deg to 1deg neg, I'm not a fan of how the steering feels.
Also need to sort some ABS sensors.

Sorted all the wide track stuff, car drives okay now.
Found myself a front grill, 25mm front spacers and finally some arch liners.
Wheels fit exactly as I like now.
Sport rear bumper at last
Sport interior
Next is a few more sport bits, (Rear beam, steering wheel, pedals) and I need to source some colour coded side strips and handles, xenons will complete the sport look. Then it'll be power mods and a few minor touches and paintwork.

That is the plan, Although finish the looks and driveability first.
I'd like to get it looking right, and all the main power mods done before Combe in Sept.

Due to other things, the cars not going to be as finished as I'd like for Combe, Will still be fun though.
In the mean time....
Before last weekend, the N/S outer CV started knocking, so thus got myself a replacement second hand shaft, Fitted it early Sunday morning....
The reason for the rush was later that day attending a RR day with Cliosport...
The DCi going on..
So it made 67.4 Bhp, 2.4 bhp gained from factory, by doing nothing. All other cars ran expected figures too so a accurate reading.
Finally got around to fitting my sport pedals and wheel too, both much nicer to use.
Will refurb the wheel and get the insert asap.
Next step is more sport stuff, fix a couple of little niggles and get more use out of it, done about 14k since January.

Was going to add this earlier but wanted a good night shot before I showed it off!
Lovely white LED's, you can imagine what the Orange looked like!
These little fuckers is what I changed..
Next up is the display LED's, they are much harder being 4pin.
Til next time.
