Yeah, except for the fact we're talking about garage doors, not cars. That house would suit a white one. Own a black car therefore black garage doors look super, k

What on earth are you on about?

Black is black whether it's on a car or cooking pot.

Give it a rest. What colour's your garage? How much did you pay to tarmac your drive?

Question is what are you on about? Just going on with yourself because I think his house would suit a white door rather than a black one. I guess if I had my white Impreza or my white Vectra still my comment would be valid? If I own a black cooking pot I have to like black garage doors, it gets better Really don't see how owning a black car means I must think every item on the planet suits black

I just think the front of a house should be bright and inviting, not black and dreary, it's my opinion. I've had both colours on the garage.

We're not talking about cars but since you insist on milking the same topic of cars in House Day, this'll probs be the last black one I own anyway

If you're looking to Tarmac your drive you don't want to be paying more than around £35/m2 off a proper surfacing contractor. That would be for a 70mm base course and 30mm wearing course.

Calm down paul j.

I had a white garage door when I moved in. I felt it was boring so painted it claret. I then got bored of that and saw a few houses with black garage doors, so went with that.

I'm happy with my choice. Black seems to be the 'in' colour with regards to exterior doors.

Yes, black's the in colour because you have it Ben. As Matt said, such a drama queen, this is why you're my favourite internet character.

No, blacks the in colour because most of the houses with new doors being put in around here are black.

I like chaz's red door tbh, white looks clinical. Great for pharmacies or detailers.

Actually, I got the urge for a black garage door whilst visiting friends in a town called 'paddiham' I think. So more manchester.tbh.

Was a nice little estate with black garage and front doors. Brickwork (more like blocks) were very nice. Was a new build area next to shitty old houses.
