Visited Paul Bailey's place about twenty years ago and he'd just repaired a banana'd, white Sapphire Cosworth for his own personal use. He'd popped a set of Hockenheim Rs on it in 18'' with a wide fitment Robin.
Bloody thing looked amazing. Absolutely loved these wheels ever since. One of the best rims for a Sapphire and IMO, one of a very small selection that are actually appropriate to the car.
It'd definitely be interesting to see how they suit your BMW. Should look good i'd have thought.
I always loved the way they looked on 'ELE' the Moonstone 3 door which was around 10 years ago or so, first one to do 180mph. Looked perfect and when it was re-featured recently it didn't have them on it and didn't look right IMO.
This is how mine would look with a set of 18s (minus the splitter, spoiler and in white, obviously)
That set were for sale on driftworks last November with new tyres for £500 but I can't log in to PM the guy (Paz) and ask if they're still available

So they need to be 18s and it needs to be low then.

Nice Robin, nice
That is a bloody good look
Definitely 18s and definitely low.
Anything less looks wrong, but that looks perfect, just like on the white Sapphire.
I remember the Moonstone car. Was quite a weapon and very pretty with it.

Oh and yeah... hugely BTCC too btw
Hope you source a set.
And if you happen across any new, old-stock, black Evos in 16'' Ford FWD fitment during your travels, give me a shout Squire.
