What's up with the paint
Nothing if the intention was to be a different colour from the rest of the car, in which case, sorry.

Well tbh though the overfenders and skirts are a differant shade here, although i think thats just the way the paint reacts to light in the curves

Actually, I think we're being a bit mean.
He lives in Scotland, so he's not to know what a metallic flake looks like in the sun.

Nothing to do with the light.
Can clearly see these are the parts that have been painted at some point. The door and front wing look to be the same shade, the bumpers, skirts, and rear 1/4 are the same shade, but different to the door and wing.

Are you not a wannabe detailer?
Should you not be better at spotting things like that instead of worrying about agreeing with everyone on a forum?
It's nothing to do with the sun, it's been the same in every single picture since it was first posted.

His looks to be in pretty good nick from the other pictures he's posted.
My comments aren't based on that one picture.

are overfenders the same as wide arch extensions or something different?
Genuinely no bait/trolling there either

Yes the bits you pointed out have clearly being painted. They might aswell be orange for the flak on here about it. Never received a single comment in 'real life' about it.
The overfenders are shown clearly in my project thread. Make the back wider to allow wider track / tyres

That an FQ400? I've got a standard 340MR, looks a lot better with the splitter but it lives in an underground car park and I reckon it'd get ripped off all the time

Aahh water off a ducks back. I accept that these cars aren't to everyone's tastes and that's fine. However if we are going on the "paint match" just on the value of these photos then both cars look bloody awful. Every panel on my car looks a different shade of grey but that is how it looks in real life, it's horrendous.

I don't even know where to start. My least concern is trying to gain favour on a website, my views are my own and I express them if I feel I can add something. Occasionally I'll just try and make a joke, which will probably end with most people not getting it or thinking I'm odd, but it seems a great idea at the time. Am I bothered? Not really. I thought it was funny so that's good enough for me.
I can't really be bothered to go into any more than that because there are more important things than trying to win an argument on the internet.
