That is proper gutting mate. I was expecting a small dent.then the pic popped up and i was like "holy crap". Atleast the garage are being cool about it and coughing up. As already said that looks like a lorry/flatbed has hit it as its too high and pointy to be a car or van. Hope you can get it sorted quickly and hassle free.

Getting paid to work on your own car Got to see the positive side

That's really gutting though mate They've done a proper job there. I reckon keep it yellow and refresh it a bit like you say.

Had a chat with my boss tonight, basically said get the main repairs sorted for the passenger side, get the money agreed and he's going to get the car repaired, resprayed and all the dents done around the car,in return i have to work a few days I had booked off to help out a short staffed 3rd site plus want my experience to help them so won't even have to get my hands dirty lol

Light at the end of the tunnel I suppose,he did say though the paints staying yellow, no colour changes was part of the deal

Nah not doing that Chris, all in one go mate, boss won't put up with my car coming in twice lol

No point rushing it, even if I only had the quarter to do it wouldn't be ready in time, best to get the garage to cough a bit towards costs and get all the bodywork mint all the same time so in a way glad all the dents I overlooked last time will be gone, have noticed a few stone chips and little bubbles of rust popping up so can get these shifted aswell

Just need to think if I can put up with the pointing if I bring it to PVS wanted to some runs but have a feeling it will look soo stupid (plus hate the fact people will think I've done it :/ )

Sucks, Stick a Facepalm sticker on it and bring it to PVS. Don't worry what other people think.

I wouldn't say never to that garage, It could happen at lots of them, and its not their fault.

I'd make a note saying "Cheers Mr HGV Driver!"

Who cares what other people think?
I'd rather enjoy the car than worry about other people's opinions

why do you have to put note detailing what happened ?!

pull up park on stand lock door and walk away , or take it on the strip. simple . i have car park dings and a scratch down the door but im not going to put a note saying this was all here before i bought it lol.

Was thinking of putting that on the side in black tape lol

Really want some runs up the strip, wanted to see if I was faster with new tyres and exhaust compared to last year (but the new seat and subframes have added some extra weight)
