Oh, Chris, nahh, was on the right way, I took it down, didn't need to show it to billy BS above. Was the day I got it and the tyres were from factory, extremly old in design and utterly useless. They got removed, and new set scrubbed in properly

Nahh I wouldn't, I leave the keyboard heroics to people like you these days But as you got personal on my post, I thought I'd just show the fact your incorrect. Again.

However drilled discs on the setup the OP is talking about are pointless.

Just pointing out that your statement was totally incorrect and wrong

Drilled discs are fine on any car. Stop talking BS.

they are fine however if the cheaper discs see too much heat they will start cracking. they just are not made from good enough grade materials.

simply put, you need to buy for requirements..

if your doing a lot of track work you buy discs and pads which you know are of good quality and pads which wont fade when they reach whatever temps the system gets to.. also needing good brake fluids as well.

if your just mooching around town and the fastest your car will go is 80mph, cheapo discs will be fine.

What sort of evidence do you have that discs physically can't warp? I'm confused by the fact you are so sure about this?
Basically your telling me that if I'm hooning round a track hard on the brakes. Then take 2 or 3 laps without useing the brakes they won't get this "warped disc" feeling ever?

ive seen more plain disks crack than grooved,

i was told the grooves remove dirt and gasses produced when braking

the drilled are to control expansion of the disk due to heat,

He is right re drilled discs though. Using supercars as an example is pointless too, unless you are trying to say painting calipers improves performance too?

Did you measure before they were fitted? Most discs wont be perfectly uniform and even, even when new, this isnt the cause of the vibration though.
