I just want to onow who actually makes auto finesse products. Save myself just buying fancy labelled stuff and just buy the original product in a less fancy bottle. Lol

The funny part is that I'm not 'authorised' by anybody. Also, I haven't slated anybody, just stated what I know.

I thought that second one was deleted. Can't remember how far I got now. It's kind of a shame that they've been 'found out' as it were, because they're not bad products and they've worked hard to build up a big fan base, but I wouldn't be surprised if that started to fall apart after what's been brought up recently. People are just much more savvy now and people who know where to look are finding out stuff that they probably didn't want to be found.

Second post is perhaps more interesting and a lot shorter. the first is 40+ pages of the same thing being said but does give an insight into AF in general. Most good posts have been closed on DW.

I'm sticking to Zaino. Works brilliant on every car I've owned.

I'm surprised it's not closed! I've spoken to James at AF at Autosport International and he said then about keeping Desire in production because it was so popular. I thought it was a good idea because at some point the original ones would get all used up (or sit on a shelf forever barely used in many cases), but now you can get more and more people will be able to use it and enjoy it. I suppose you'll always get some people being upset with it no longer being limited edition, but at least they didn't re-release it as something else because that would be pretty cheeky and they would get found out anyway.

i think the issue is because people collect this stuff now and keep it expecting it to go up in value.
still a bit of a d!ck move on AFs part. being limited to 500 should mean than no matter how you try to play it.

True, it will devalue the original pots to an extent, but at the end of the day it's only car wax Not something I'd personally invest in for my pension.

I agree with what you say, but other companies (one in particular) have had limited runs and have stuck to them and people love it (they also often give proceeds to charity).

I only really use Autosmart and Valetpro products
Wenever I see AF products I have to laugh at the prices. Detailing products don't and needn't cost the earth.
