6 - Good things - happy with mrs, family and that I've started my own business, which is growing.
Bad things - can't afford to move out or afford anything really as all my money is going back in the business. Got a couple of health problems, which get to me. Not really got any mates which pisses me off.

10. I'm more than happy just plodding along doing my own thing. If I was to have a mild grumble it would be that I would like more disposable cash.
Ask me again in December when I've got a shitting machine coming out of my girlfriends fanny.

Went for 7, if i wasn't single, and earned a few grand more a year I'd be pretty content.

4.
Decent job and salary
Not where I'd planned on being career wise
Not sure where I'm going in life now
Gf's more off than on
Don't want to commit to a house on my own but can't hold the relationship together
However, currently sat typing this in bed with said gf in sunny Portugal!

I voted 3. I live in a rough area, my car needs a fair bit of work that I can hardly afford, I need more money just to keep the electric on, I wish I could provide more. My mums about to cop it..
I'm about to train for a much higher paying job though..I just hope plans go ahead, if they do, I'll have more money and less financial stress and should be a lot more content. I hate money, it's the "root" of all evil. Everybody wants more.
Still, I live in a first world country and have a healthy son..I just want to give him more.
out of curiousity, Tiger, why do you ask?

3 based on the fact my horse seems to be costing me millions at the moment. Just cleared the last £1k and now its happened again and just cost me £900 on a new saddle.
Love my job however so this is stopping my suicide bid for now

It's got to be perfect
It's got to be worth it
Yeah.
Too many people take second best
But I won't take anything less
It's got to be
Yeah
Perfect.
Young hearts are foolish
They make such mistakes
They're much too eager to give their love away
Bascially true...

Nothing's perfect so I'll go for 9 at the moment.
Just finished my Masters and got a new job with a good company starting in September.
Got a good long term girlfriend, great friends.
The weather is good.
Can't really think of anything negative to say.

I will say 6.
I have a well payed job (for my age and experience) great mates, good family and I'm fairly healthy.
Negatives:
I spend a lot of money travelling for work, so it sort of counters the + sides of it.
Few problems/fixes that I need to do to the car
I cannot seem to save money for the life of me!
Girls are too hard to understand!

I guess it's just that some people are doing really well but seem unhappy, I wondered if its a running theme or not.

Im going to say 7
Positives:
First child on the way!
Relatively secure job 15 minutes from home
Get on well with wife's parents
Dog is on his way to being trained properly
Been mortgaged for 3 years now with no issues
I've got my motorbike to ride around on
Not stuck in debt hell (never have been)
Negatives
I don't necessarily enjoy my job (it's "just a job"), I'm also financially locked into it because they are funding me through my CIMA qualification
I've got the itch to get on with doing the house up, but I'm generally terrible at anything DIY so it costs an arm and a leg to get a real man in to do it, and any value we add will be compounded when we repay the builder loan in a few years
My car is boring and old, but it's too expensive / reliable to justify replacing it
While we earn plenty to survive, it's always nice to have more, especially when the baby arrives and she goes on to SMP
But generally everything is fine!

Great fiancee, just found out she's pregnant, car that i love, my weekend toy is a T2 Campervan thats getting fully restored soon, great family, just got back from a 2 week holiday in 35 degree+ heat.
Jobs 'ok' but waiting till i qualify to make full judgement, need to move out and get own place (which could be happening soon), could always earn more money but hey-ho.
