I was looking at Trott yesterday, but its definitely the hardest bit to pick of the 4 fold. Cook was top in aus last ashes, KP could easily be top scorer if he feels like it.
On the contrary, I think they binned off the ICC CT for the Ashes, so he'll be fit. Scored big in the warm up the other day too.

While we are talking about leading wicket takers have Australia hinted at what their likely line up is going to be?
If he plays and stays fit Ryan Harris could be worth an outside punt as leading wicket taker.

I dont watch much cricket but im willing to watch any sport where the stakes are high, I was listening to the radio dicussing murrays win and other great british sporting achievements and the ashes was mentioned in the same vein, can you explain why its such a major event?

Ashton Agar in the side, 19yo slow left armer apparently, never heard of him myself. Can't really be worse than Lyon though. Seems Smith is in too, presume Aus are going for two slow bowlers, hope for their sake he's improved a lot since I last saw him, looked a part time spinner at best.
Haven't seen any England team news yet but it should be pretty obvious.

Pitch will be ideal for Swanny after an innings or 3.

Been stuck in the new part of Mickleover where there's no fucking mobile internet, so missed most of the first half hour, managed to get 30seconds or so at a time, been driving me mad, but seems like we've started well. Thought there'd be an early wicket tbh with the cloud cover, so all good so far...

I love Trotts swagger at the crease. The faces he pulls after each ball.
