don't forget to register your UDID FIRST!
Plenty of sites out there, I think I paid around £5 to do mine.

It simply won't activate.
You can easily downgrade but no point upgrading if you haven't registered your udid

I've hear a number of people say that the ios7 betas have never had the UUID check turned on.
It was confirmed in lots of places in Beta 1 and I don't think they have turned it on since so you should be able to just install it.
They may well have lots of debug code in there such they decided that more debug feedback was better thus not restricting it

It does check, I tried it a while back and couldn't activate the phone.
Im waiting for my UDID to be registered, but Ive just read that instead of shift clicking 'restore' and selecting the IO& IPSW, you should shift click UPDATE and it works fine!
I downgraded 7 to 6 without any issues, so will give it a try now

I had to find a .dmg extractor as I downloaded a .dmg version of ios7 and Im on my work windows PC, but all went ok in the end.
Using the Iphone4S, im not sure if I like the look it this...
I think it'll be better on the iphone5 though.

download the IOS from the bottom of this page:
http://geeksays.com/download-ios-7-betas/
once download, fire up itune, then its something like Shift or Alt + update button in iTunes and a browser window will popup for you to select the dmg file.
That's it, it'll sort itself out and will take 5-10 mins to update.

er, you should be downloading beta 5 from the bottom of that link!
When I upgraded, It didn't copy all my apps across (but did everything else).
So I hit reset with a view to re-setup from an icloud backup, but of course it tries to re-activate
Time to downgrade again, upgrade then manually install any aps

I also done mine without the UDID tbh.
I registered the phone, but didn't get the confirmation email through in time and got impatient.
To downgrade, you simply put the phone into restore mode, plug it into iTunes and click restore.
I've downgraded twice in the last 2 days and upgraded three times
You cant brick it or lock yourself out, so don't worry about anything.
All sorted now though.
