I was thinking this. I don't think I'd trust children in a car build by some random bloke. Or myself for that matter.

Well, you could get Gartrac to do it Gaz.

It would be safe as houses then. Although the project might exceed the 'budget' I think.

Why don't you approach Vauxhall and get them to make a bespoke vehicle for you? That way, it will be safe as houses and well within your 3k budget!

I've got a lovely RWD smart car you can buy.. You could throw the kids in the boot, it would be safer than them setting in the back of a bodged up Corsa anyway!

whys that

I remember watching the build thread, welding was debatable,
The rear shock towers and fuel tank looked terrible, and if I was going through the effort of rwd'in a corsa I certainly
Wouldn't use a solid axle and would go irs,

Look at using a mx5 rear suspension/subframe and diff.

I would like to see them pictures as the corsa is sitting in my garage and welding look fine to me. the tank is a std alloy fuel tank how can that look terrible.

I think we need to all see your rwd corsa that you could build with irs. I say fair play to anyone who has ago at anything there is far to many people on the net who slag of other cars
