Turns out that its worth a lot not being an Excort cossie, but it could have well have been worth 20pence if just left to rot....and then there's that issue!

Sounds weird/fishy/not true to me.

maybe he new it would be a classic and didnt want a recorded accident, just another project that never got finished due to the usual time and money probably

and a cossie that had been garaged with 2k miles will bring a fair bit in a few years time once together obviously which might be why he is sitting on it atm

Can you please update this with pictures and a proper description of the car please.

I can't wait to either be shocked that it's actually an escort cossie or loll'ing my arse off that it's something completely pants.

When cissies where first out nobody "knew" they would be appreciating assets if low miles etc

Having a bent one in the shed doesnt bode well for future values on the fact of it being crashed.

Good and bad Squire. Yourself? Is that a sproglett from the Clan McEckles I spy in your avatar?

Btw, what's your preference re the Ford, the 1.7 with the turbo or the 2.3 without? And will you be requiring a working car with functional ducting, or a pretty 'press' car with the NACA ducts etc?

i spend my money on the astra for now so havnt brought it up,

i barely see her dad, so its difficult to ask him to go open one of the garages,

last time i was over he spent nearly two hours talking about a space frame 4wd mini he is building as a advertising with work, did mention giving it to us to take to shows, judging by the unrepaired cossie im not sure this will be finished either,

just text the misses to go get a picture, well see what comes of that

Looks more like a sandal, a flex with plug and a polyurethane tub to me Robin.

I was kind of hoping for an image of the aforementioned damaged car.
