why remove the floor, and keep the full metal body?
cage looks like an 'illegal' spec if wanting to compete

yeah your right actually nic, i had a bit chat with the lads with the famous carbon nova and he shown me how its still got its VIN number pot riveted back in
and as for the floor, it's been done with aluminium.
the laws/rules on cages over there might be different to here
i think its

custom rear axles seem to be a popular weight saving option too... don't know if you can class them as road legal though

I thought it would be pretty cool if he made a left hooker, even the weight out and all.

Some work going into that. Wonder what the final weight is. Interesting what hes done with front end. Would the frobt slam pannel not effect strenght? For i see he hasnt any bracing going across.
Must look him up of facebook the night when i get home

yeah i like that too, thinking something like this for mine and keep standard wings and bonnet till funds allow for a clip on 1 piece fg front end
only issue would be where would i mount the p/s headlight
and no not really, the strength is in the chassis legs and cross member and if you look he's added a bit of strength in there to be safe

I found a site doing cheap fibreglass pannels maybe tie you over for a bit
http://www.cmcomposites.co.uk/corsa-b-wings.php.
Why you wanna keep headlight? for i take it your not going to be road legal
