Iv got no issue with the looks, I think it looks alright. They are also really nice inside.

I don't think I could hack it being a 116 though, the lack of power may get frustrating in that decent chassis,however I'm currently driving an mx5 so what do I know

Why did bmw stop linking engine size with model derivative? It makes it so much more difficult to know what engine they have.

Nice buy Alun. But personally I'm not a 1series fan, however it's not me driving it. Much improvement over the previous 1series though.

114i/116i and 118i are all the 1.6 petrol engine. The 114d and 116d efficient dynamics is a 1.6 diesel engine and the 116d ES/118d and 120d are all a 2 litre diesel engine.

Why they felt the need to massively confuse things I don't know

I typed it wrong honest the stupid prick on the user forecourt told me it was a 2.0, in fairness I should have checked haha.
