You just wonder if one sucker punch on Groves and he's done, though. Could say the same for Froch, but with Froch's experience etc

Groves is done. Round 1/2 needed to be the finisher.

Best fight ive seen in a while.
If groves didnt fall into the ref he was hitting the canvas.
If the ref left it to go on then groves was getting knocked out, simple as that. No chance froch was being ko'd.

Bring on the rematch.

completely agree ref made a good call, he turned his back(not the first time either) hands by his sides, good call

Absolutely shocking call. In fact the kind of call which proves once and for all boxing is crooked.

What would normally happen in a situation where a boxer is unconscious and falls into the ref arms, should he not do anything and let him fall out or what? Genuine question, never seen it happen before.

I agree with it being corrupt, but Groves wouldnt have lasted that round if he didnt stop it, meaning less chance of a rematch.

For a 36 year old froch is a beast. Khan must wish he had a chin like his.

Where the fuck are you getting he was unconcious from?

He was clearly winning the fight and the ref jumped in, for reasons only known to himself, to wrongly stop the fight.

I'm a massive Froch fan and was loving the fact he had turned the fight around but he should have been allowed the opportunity to win the fight by himself. It's utterly pointless to suggest in some hypothetical situation Groves wouldn't have lasted the round. There is nothing to suggest that would have been the case.

Ignore that, he turned his back as well for the second time which didnt help.

Fights don't get stopped because a fighter turns away from being punched in the face.

He falls off the ropes into the ref with his arms dangling, turning his back to froch. He was hitting the canvas.

Actually a ref can stop a fight if one keeps turning his back.

Are you a boxing fan? Groves legs were fine, he was swinging for the fences and the 2 of them were in a dogfight.

The referee fucked up. He tried to jump on Groves whilst he is still throwing punches, it isn't even up for debate.

'keeps' being the operative word. Same as he can stop a fight for numerous hits to the back of the head or low blows. Another 2 things that didn't happen.
