This!

Me and Paul are going, it's just up the road so be rude not to.
Pod have said that they have never had an event sell out so quick and to maximum capacity aswell!
The staff are working for free with all money from the ticket sales going straight to Paul Walkers charity Reach out world wide (obviously they are going to make some cash from the food/drink etc.)
Tickets Have been on sale for 2 weeks and have all sold, an extra 1000 were put on sale today and they sold out in 6 minutes! Unless you have a ticket or can get one from someone else it's not likely you'd be allowed in due to no ticket sales on the gate.

The bloke/club organising it has done a fairly good job I'd say, they never expected this much attention or for it to grow so big so fast as it only started out as a 'cruise' in Peterborough.

Judging by the footage of the twunt with the focarse, I can see this being quite the car crash.

Unless it manages to draw an entirely different breed somehow.

Amazed it sold out though.

I'd agree, there are bound to be a few fuckwits that'll try spoil it for everyone else but as with anything especially the car scene you get it all the time.
USC, Modified Nationals and you could say bug jam for example all used to be epic shows but have gradually got worse due to being filled with absolute plebs and people going to get smashed rather than for what the show was created for

I'm pretty amazed it sold out myself, still with it being 5 mins down the road it'll be worth checking out on the off chance it actually goes smoothly without any hiccups. If were only there for 10min then at least it was only £8 and that's gone towards a good cause

A small tribute meet in Manchester went viral on the internet, turn out looked fantastic, great cars too
Apparently no dickheadish behaviour either.

The problem I have is that the following.

I doubt any money exchanged hands on the day will in fact make it to Paul Walkers charity. From what Ican work out Santa Pod are already running an event on the Saturday and will be charging £25 a run uo the strip (this covers Santa pods running costs for the day). Any food outlets will just be pocketing any money they make. Any quite rightly too.

The entrance fee is £4, i dont know if this is per person or per car. Apprently the "organisers" have come to an agreement with Santa Pod for them to give the money to the charity. I very much doubt this will happen. Its potentiall another £4k profit straight in their pocket, no sweat.

I doubt there is a written agreement in place between the organisers and Pod. Pod will just deny all knowledge and their laughing. Call me pesamistic, but if I was in buisness this is what I would do.

Dont get me wrong I am all for car meets but just not in a field with a bunch of scallies in their focus's on fire .

The problem now is that people have bought loads in one go and then are selling them on for more than the face value. Quite disgraceful to see such an event as an opportunity to make some profit, if you ask me.

What I don't get is...

I don't do things like that, yet keep a massive fire extinguisher in the boot of my car.

He most definitely DOES do things like that, yet all he keeps in his boot are some massive speakers.

I also love the fact that he left the bonnet up, once it had caught, so it could get just as much air as it needed

That made me piss.

I'd have asked him how much money he had in his wallet. Then i'd have rented him my extinguisher if he had enough.
