They crack... If it hasnt cracked already it will

If it has full bmw service history and is standard they will do it for free.. £4k job btw

Mine had part bmw history and at the time was standard so i had to contribute £1500 to mine

His is not at all standard so if its cracked it will cost ££££ however you can get them fixed cheaper independent but i always thought that was a bodge

Just over 1k repair at a couple of companies. Easy 4k at BMW.

Presume its SMG? If so hope the pump doesn't go!

7k now, 50k new.

repairers don't usually become cheaper when the price of high end cars comes down to affordable levels.

Think I'll have to get rid of the z4 earlier than planned if these are 6k now.

No - its a £1k repair to weld the cracks up then inject a bit resin...

Or you can get bmw to remove the weak panel and refit a brand new one...

Which is why all high end big volume cars plummet with depreciation when they get old and need bits replacing

It's a 3 series though, is that part M sepcific? If not it's a repair on a 25k car, not a 50k one.

for dogs, yes.

Most cheap ones also seem to be owned by imrans and mohammeds and have tints and have sky high mileage.
