that was as close to childrens television as I have seen on bbc 2 at this time of night.
I get you all enjoy it, and thats fine - I just dont understand why? I like it when they review a supercar or something else cool - other than that its unwatchable now.

Entertaining. But that feature could have been much better like the buy a car for £1000 episodes a la Porsche, old British Leyland etc.

What planet are you people on it was utter shit. How can a show about what should be the greatest ever subject (80s hot hatches) be so poor with the vast budget they posses.
Even devote top gear fans must admit compared to other car buying challenges they have done this was appalling, how could they make a police chase so boring?
Yea yea I know it's target audience is children and the clueless and I shouldn't watch it but as long as the bbc badge it as 'motoring news' I will watch it in the vein hope that there will be some.

As soon as the tank came out and the drone thingy i knew it was basically turning to shit.
I mean wtf sort of entertainment is pretending to blow cars up with people in them.
Would rather they put the cars together and explained they were going to blow them up and then blow them up.
Like when they buried the old reasonably priced car under that chimney.

Top Gear has basically been shit for a long, long time. There might be about 20/30 per cent of good things in each episode. Obviously this can vary. Personally, I prefer watching the old episodes on YouTube.

Great show. It's daft and amusing. But that's the point.
Looking forward to P1 review, will watch Sutcliffe as noticed AC have posted a vid, unsure if Monkey has reviewed it?
People need to lighten up, if you don't like it then don't watch it. It's that simple. No need to get annoyed by it, that should be saved for "celebrities" in the jungle and other such crimes against humanity.
It won't last forever so enjoy it whilst it's here.

I thought it was a good show, star in a car is just boring if you have no idea who they are! I think it would have better had we seen them wrap the cars. Bringing back memories of Jeremy painting his Alfa

Recognised the actor so watched that bit, which I never usually do.
The police bit was awful, but the rest was funny. Even the scripted dtuff such as clarkson wrapping over his keys.
people who don't like it shouldn't watch it. They'd be betteroff watching countryfile or bargain hunt.
