White was only cool when then Mk5 Golf GTi came out in white, what was that 2006?

Even since then the worlds just become full of people trying to be cool by buying white cars not realising that trend passed 8 years ago.

I remember a few years back when white BMW M sports and Audi S line's etc started to become all the rage. Pretty certain loads on here said they will die out etc, few years time no 1 will be buying them blah blah. And now a few years later, they seem to be more popular than ever.

Only time you pay for white is if you consider the future value, don't think I've ever seen it cost anything in a brochure in my 30 years of looking in brochures.

Ford charge for white now. Was free on my fiesta in 2007 and they started charging 250 quid for it from 2011-12 iirc. It may even be 300 quid now.

Thats the flat white also.

Must admit I do love a white car. Got ruined when I got that fiesta, everyone telling me it'd be worth fuck all as no one likes white cars.

I think white was very common on cars pre 2000 but it is making a comeback and rightly so.

This tbh.

And that's exactly the reason I love white cars. Luxury cars look great in white, I don't even notice cheaper cars in white so I wouldn't say it's making the colour look cheaper at all.

Well I've joined the 4% and got a white Ibiza. Taken me a few months to find one though. It's only a 2.0 TDI but they seem to be hard to come by for some reason. Only thing I've found is that it shows up splattered flies a lot more than other colours!

I like the white's ford do.

Thinks its platinum white, looks dull in dull weather, then blue pearls come out in the sunshine.

Only really seen it on top spec mondeos

I'll be in another Audi one day, just economising for a while.

Hadn't realised how harsh the Mini is to use every day compared till I got the Ibiza then I've driven to work in the Mini today and it's like driving a racing car in comparison. It's loads of fun flying round country roads but it's wasted commuting to work.

I'd of liked a facelift Ibiza Ben but the facelift FR is hard to tell apart from the base models unless you can find one with the optional 17" wheels and Xenon headlights which put them out of my budget. Whereas the pre facelift like this one has an FR only front bumper and 17" wheels as standard. It's a good car, not a great one. It'll do for now.
