i was bidding on one of them varley red top batterys but missed the end of the auction for the sake of a few peanuts
totally honest, it fits, its weight in the right place and on the right side and you'll not see it, could be money better spent in other areas tbh

just finished the paint job today...

looks better in person

That's fair enough. But you are either bothered about small weight savings or you aren't. You've spent ages cutting small holes everywhere so you can't really now pretend it's not that important to you

it is important to me, think about what side iv put that 'gigantic' (standard corsa) battery on... think about whats on the other side, it'll equal it out a bit

Take the cellotape off the lens

Loving this build , i have a set of ford probe tubular manifolds i bought to do something similar to what you had planned. (ive still not got round to making them though yet) They look a much closer match then the ones you have already. Will try and get some pics for you if you want.

yeah the ford probe ones are a bit closer, iv seen a few pairs of them done, rear ones still needs a lot of work for a nova bay alone, corsa bay is actually worse than...

was going to wait till saturday to put the lump in but seen as its been decent weather and im off work i thought it'd be rude not to...
1 man band today so dont think iv done to bad considering i had to get the engine from one village to the next, in and out the back of the veccy on my own (with faulty engine crane)

no driver side mount on yet as working on one that'll do away with the calibra p/s bracket type, kind of a 1 piece one a bit like the griffin autosport V6 nova ones

** Ian
