You'll be lucky, cheapest £60 quid to actually get the ball joint.

Need to be pressed out and pressed in very carefully as well due to hub being aluminum.

Great cars these. Love my brothers r27. Was out in a turbo'd 200 few weeks back, absolute rocket.

There is a lot of scare mongering with these cars but there are also a lot of common problems but as most of them have been around for a while most are easily solved and no where near as bad as what people make out.

I.e. Steering racks, quoted £900 from Renault. My brother had his replaced with an OEM one and fitted for £250. Belts and water pump done for £420 and not the £1ks people state.

Really like these (with the spoiler, look bare without), but not keen on the idea of needing to rev the tits off it to get anywhere.

I'm only going on what the Internet says though. Ideal on track, not so ideal on the road.

Also, I couldn't help but notice this isn't a land rover defender.

Jambo is jealous! That is my 50/50 favourite spec 200. Recaros, speed lines red/black and no daft Halfords spoiler AND you got one of the CL10 plates!! Lovely lovely lovely car. £7.5k is a fucking steal as well. I paid £7k for my 182 when it was 7years old.

Love French crap. Wicked car.

Saying you don't like to rev a car is like saying you don't like driving.

Not really. I don't want to drop down 3 gears and rev to 7k just to overtake someone on my work commute.

Would be great if it was for weekends hooning down rural roads. Not so good if you plan on using it to commute on motorways. 6th gear and low down torque suits me fine.

Again, only going on what the Internet says about these. I have no experience of actually driving them.
