Defo think its age related. Regular posters have been around 10 years or so, so must be around 30 now, we mostly have careers and familys now and so less time for here. Its been a good run though.

It's had two posts today, both of which are spam.

agree with this ... I have seen a few forums die off when they got sub categories - I would keep sport separate

All depends on your catchment area. Landyzone has loads of sub categories but is very busy.

CS should have gone to a generic car forum a while back imo.

Why's this now the second thread you've made in a few months making a deal about CS being quiet? Genuinely curious, seems a bit weird.

People with jobs might actually be busier than usual, therefore no time to browse silly corsasport threads.

Also people get girlfriends on here then decide to quit, almost like they're afraid of telling them that they enjoy being on forums.

Problem being that evryine that posts have been here for a while and if a newbie comes along they get the piss ripped out of them. That and the fact corsa bs are dying out , havent seen one in ages kicking about

It's only personal tax year. So I doubt it's going to make people that much more busy.

Thing I don't get is that ClioSport is booming... takes me over an hour to read all the new posts each day, I wonder why the difference? And you have to pay to use it!

I reckon it could be to do with so many older Clio's being popular, getting into more peoples hands... i.e. the 172/182 is bargain, the 197's are hitting £5,000 and lower now and there's the Williams and the new Clio Turbo, a lot going on.

Corsa GSi's are basically dead, Corsa C's were all rubbish (no offence if you own one) and the VXR's are great but there's just not enough of those owners on here.

I haven't been here to long and prefer the off day to the car chat to be honest for the banter and instead of watching the news I read here as only the good stuff pops up, but have realised that any posts asking for advise usually ends up with a smart arse comment along the lines of go to google, other than that think the site is pretty good

That's simply not true. If you're referring to your Paypal thread, then yes, John did question whether you'd actually done any research before expecting to be handed the answer. Like it or hate it, that's just his style.

Besides John, quite a few people actually tried to help you with your question.

As someone said this should have been converted to weekend racer when we all suggested it, by the end of this year the forum will resemble weekend racer.

I spend more time on clio sport reading the project threads.
