As I said steve, what you say is invalid on anything I got a reply. I've raised the issue, thats all I wanted to do. I'm sure you'll say they are taking the piss or something, its your mindset type.

Good Morning Damien

Thanks for taking time to email and give your thoughts on the hairpin corner.

It is our intention to install a large gravel trap on the infield of the hairpin corner, we are also taking to opportunity to level out some of the ground in the infield area.

Your design is different to our proposals but has given us something else to incorporate into our decision process for the safety improvements.

Thanks again, constructive feedback like this is always welcome.

Regards,

Sounds like they thought you were a ten year old boy playing in mspaint and thought it nice to reply and make a young lads day by making out there idea is useful.

Sounds just like the letter from sainsburys to the child who wrote in about tiger bread.

Or is that why they are doing alterations to the track??

Yeah, it could be fairly easy to roll going the right way around that corner though. It's regular to see cars on two wheels around there, and that's before the sausage kerbs come into it.

How much for the GTRs?

But seriously, looks like a good ol' smash. Shame about the car but good to hear they're recovering and not seriously injured.

i have never "did" knockhill

only ever been on one and that was at oulten park
does this have any relevance to what i think would be brilliant or is this a track elite only thread?

Yer i hope it does. just to shush the internet warriors up. got nothing to do with making the track any better/worse just think it would be funny as you guys are clearly the experts on track layout and saftey and diamo is a joke...
do i need to be a racing driver to post my opinion on the thread?

Yeah it was a really quick car, I'm not 100% but I think they will be buying another and using what bits they can yes. It's certainly not put them off trackdays.
