Did someone say 2.0?? Very much doubt that. It will be a remapped 2.5 TFSI out of the RS3/TTRS/RSQ3
As for £72k... Lol!! Buy one of the above audis, remap it, save 30k

Holy shit I didn't realise that was the price! It's lovely, but I wouldn't pay more than half that lol...
At the end of the day it's got the same carbon fibre strips and stitching as my Clio so I guess I'm almost there already, right?

Yeah someone said £72,000 on the first page and everyone seems to have taken it as gospel but where's the proof of this? On PistonHeads they're saying ~£50k.

The newer 2ltr in the mk7 R/mk3 Cupra can push 360bhp from just a map, exhaust and filter so its not that far fetched.

Or a brand new Porsche
Base model 991's start at 80k
You can get poverty spec second hand ones from 2013 for 70k tho
Nice 997 GT3 would do and I'd have some change
They do make more than one model of car, two of them start at about £40-50k

for some reason it reminds me of this guy.
Typical new golf driver, everyone knows golfs are only cool when they are 10yrs old and people can afford them and the same again on wheels.

Just had a quick scan through autocar and this is on the cover. Its supposed to be built to rival the Merc A45 AMG with the same 2ltr turbo 4wd and priced around £38k. No idea how much truth is in that.

Also read Autocar, usually pretty accurate. Is going to be priced in line with Merc A45 AMG

A45 amg is actually pretty cool and a bit of a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Golf is a bit boy racer, but in black with some decent alloys, it'll look immensly better.
