We've been a sacking club before, we were just blessed with Fergie Times have changed now, I didn't want Moyes to be sacked and to be honest I was all for him getting one more season. Ultimately, though, it seemed he lost the respect of players and I imagine wouldn't have had a successful summer spending £150-£200m.
Good, nice man. Good and nice isn't what United need.

Would they have done it if they weren't on the stock exchange? Got their shares to think of most importantly

£200m? Get away. Since the Glazers arrived you've had one of the lowest net spends. You won't get £200m off them without getting rid of at least £150m worth of players first.
It's funny, when they took over many warned about how they financed thier deal and how they were basically buying it to milk the profits. Many Utd fans just put their head in the sand and said it'll be alright because we're Man Utd. Chickens and roosting come to mind.

They don't need turning in to a mid table club so his talents would be wasted there

He's too good for Newcastle but it would be fantastic to get shot of Pardew once and for all.

Only going by what is being reported, I know as much as anybody else. The squad clearly needs rebuilding and we are obviously going to spend money. So, without having to sell any players, what budget are you giving United? £50m?

Thought I'd listen to talksport for the first time in ages this morning, nice to see it's still populated by idiots
Couple of utd fans saying they should get Roy Keane as manager "to bring the fear back to the squad"

Would like to know Fergies thoughts on this! Considering he was heavily involved in the appointment.

What relevant ability/experience does Giggs have to be placed in such a position? Even Phil Neville would be a more suitable temporary option.
Club is going to shit.

It's similar to when he signed certain players that turned out to be flops, he didn't get everything right all the time. No one does

Part of this is down to Fergie - Not just to his assistance of the appointment but to also the squad that he left. He may have won the league but RVP allowed them to really cover up the cracks.
I think the 51 teams in 51 matches says it all. Arguably anyone could have done what he has and just picked virtually every combination of players at some point

Anyone else think the sacking has been handled really badly too?
