Feel free to give us a try, if you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to arrange a call back from our quotes team?

i have found this to be true recently.
Stayed with Churchill for two years, and now with Aviva for the second year, on both occasions their renewal was competitive.
with regard to it dropping i have always been hovering around the £450-500 mark the last 6-7 years but at 28 (last renewal) it sunk to £280 which no changes from the previous year other than an extra NCB (7years)

Hi Dan, I did have my camper with you but you were always very very expensive on the car side. I've renewed now but will bare you in mind next year!

You guys lost me this year as your renewal for a 14 year old 2.4 Volvo was dearer than the 2.0 turbo Impreza you insured the year before. You also would not match a cheaper quote I had sourced elsewhere then seemed really shocked and upset when I wasn't going to take you up on the offer which you deemed I would be very impressed with!
Not you Dan btw, your company!

I found it sat around £600 ish for a few years when I was 19/20 ish, then has in the last couple of years dropped down to about £300 (7 years ncb) for the daily - just added a fourth car to our multicar policy and was 230 for 8 months. Considering that has 0 ncb at 25 i'm happy. Cant wait for the missus to get a years ncb on her car as thats about £900 at the moment

No they did me out of a year. I can't find anywhere that I wasn't going to get a years no claims but they say as it's a classic policy it doesn't happen.

Flux where brilliant for me. With them for years with all my modified stuff. Couldn't match the M3 quote I got but neither could anyone else as it was a classics policy.

I'm 22 (and was 21 when taking out the policy) and pay just over £700 on my mk3 Astra with a 2.0 turbo, all mods declared. It's gone down a lot year after year for me.

I've just looked back, it's gone down £80 since last year so 20%ish isn't bad I suppose

Well last year I was 25 with 3 years NCB and 1 claim in May 2012. On the Fiesta (1.4) with £0 total excess, not even a compulsory it was £347.
Just got my renewal. £495
4 years NCB, no claims, other than the one they know about. Oh and dad still on the policy. What what.

Got it down to £343 with Tesco, protected NCB and £0 excess.
Cheaper than last year. Just!
Can't get it much cheaper mind unless I go for a cashback deal.

Yep, Tesco cheapest. Adding the Mrs with one SP30 and 1 claim reduces it by £3 a month. Handy now that we live together.
Wonder how Sainsburys will feel when I go to their outright competitor

Have a look at TopCashBack (saved me a fair old amount last year) and play around with job titles.

It might not make a difference but you are all aware that the insurers keep a record of all quotes obtained as you play around with job titles? Might give them enough reason to remove indemnity in the event of a claim.

Mine when up by £60 when I turned 25. Got them down to same price in the end. Think I pay around £280 -300 for e46 320.
