I had that on PC World - none of the product listings are showing up.

I'm sure a couple of people will get a genuine bargain, in general though it's a massive advertising scam, which people are now physically fighting over
Couldn't possibly live without a Polaroid TV.

I've just got Amazon open, waiting for a lightning deal that will be a good Christmas present. Saves the hassle of seeing people in town.

Just got a Logitech Harmony Touch for £59.99 down from £113 on Amazon. Even though the normal price is around £95 I still think it's a good deal. They sold out in seconds.

The only thing I was interested in was a Sonos. Have a quick scan around this morning and as expected there were no discounts to be had.
Richer Sounds looks to have a few bargains.
John Lewis has nest thermostats with £30 off and iPad mini for £149

I've noticed all the people rioting and fighting for cheap deals in the shops are either foreign, chavs, or fat women.

Mega pikeys. Most things aren't reduced, the only way to get something half decent was to visit shops at midnight and act like s fucjing animal to save money.
Over hyped shit

Generated a bunch for the economy though, Black Friday for the past few years has generally given far better bargains than most usual sales.
Seeming as I didn't go to Asda to buy a shit TV for £140 and I had a job to go to this morning, I am not in the least bit bothered by the hype, nor people acting like animals. Those kind of people all do that 24/7 and if not definitely on a Friday and Saturday night in your local town.
Also, quite perturbed by the news who seem to be squaring the blame largely at retail staff?! Didn't see one Regional/Area Manager interviewed, nor did any of the chains come forward with their heads of retail. Instead they landed blame at the minimum wage shop worker in Asda. Dicks.

Gutted I missed out on a nest thermostat from John Lewis. Would have got it for £130 with employee discount

Just got the nest from amazon for £139. Not too bad at all.
Also got a cheap coffee machine (dolce gusto) from currys for £29. It's probably shit, but worth a try.

Scrap that, John Lewis had one come back in stock online, so bought that and cancelled the amazon one. £131 thats a bargain considering they're never on offer.

What about the fact I get the nest today with the click and collect service? Didn't think that one through, did you?
Also i'm on nights this week so if amazon did try to deliver, i'd be in bed. They estimated 5th December delivery.
But yeah, fair play to you for stating the obvious and not worrying about the things that really matter, like how the hell i'd get my parcel, John lewis' customer care and pressing 2 buttons online to cancel an order.

Impulse bought one of these last night: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Linx7-32GB-Tablet-Intel-Quad-Core-Windows-8-1-FREE-MS-Office-12mth-Subscription-/191398987339?pt=UK_Computing_Laptops_EH&hash=item2c9044c64b
It'll no doubt be utterly shocking but I couldn't help be intrigued by x86 Windows on a tablet for this price.

That was my thinking too. I'm sure it'll be made from egg boxes but for £60 it'll amuse me a for a few days.
