Aquila was brilliant. Strangely they re-tried it about 10 years later and my little brother liked it then too.

Had a bit of a crush on the indie chick from My parents are aliens. Danielle McCormick iirc (more 2000s though)

I had Sky and had one of those card chargers (or whatever they were called) so we got every channel for free.
