Yes I thought it was something along those lines but I just couldn't see those figures related to anything so wasn't completely sure! Thanks.
Trying to be positive but it's mainly annoying that I'm not going to know my results for a long time yet... unfortunately this was done in my better eye meaning I do indeed have something to lose as it were. The main reason I made the decision to go for it was to stop it getting as bad as in my worse eye! It'll be very frustrating if after all this it's worse anyway

Thought I'd give this an update as I recently hit the 6 month mark.
I've seen an improvement. I can actually see text now which is fantastic... don't get me wrong it's still horrible vision (basically seems like I'm looking through smoke, and the double vision etc. is horrible) but it's definitely a good sign, and I'm hoping it'll only get better over the following 6 months.
I've got my glasses prescription updated, and have some contacts on the way. They're not great, as CXL has made one eye long sighted and one eye short sighted! So much so, my brain wouldn't be able to cope with the prescription difference, so they've had to be toned down a bit.
Most importantly of all I'm driving again (during the daylight) for some reason my vision does seem much better during the daylight... I think it's because your pupils are bigger and it kind of misses the haze.
It's been a tough old ride but I'm getting somewhere. I just hope one day it all becomes sharp once again.

Your eyesight is shit and your driving? Is that wise? Looking through smoke and double vision doesn't sound like your ready to be driving

Yeah, loads of KC sufferers have one good and one poor eye and drive absolutely fine. You've done the right thing by informing the DVLA too!
Glad to hear that progress is going well!
Any more procedures in the pipeline, or is it just a case of sitting back and monitoring the results now?

Your pupils should be bigger at night, surely? The reason your pupil increases in size is to allow more light to pass through.
Check a cats eye during the day, it's like a slit. At night, they are huge.
Am I reading your post about daytime driving correct, or have I got it mixed up?

Yeah Ben, pupils are bigger at night to let more light in.
Basically more light=smaller pupils=less light entering the eye=less light scatter and 'glare'.
(In theory anyway) and the opposite for dark conditions and large pupils.

Glad to hear your vision is on the mend buddy.
Also glad to hear we have a resident doctor on CS again. Excellent news.
I remember another resident doctor from years ago, Fraser Young I think he was called. Gave some good advice too. Unfortunately he couldn't do prescriptions over CS which was a shame.

Haha, not sure if you're being sarcastic or not! I'm not a doctor, I only do eyes, I'm a Specialist Optometrist.

I wasn't being sarcastic, rather hoped it wouldn't come across as such too
Eye advice - I shall keep a note of your user name.
