Find it amusing how some people will travel to a different garage just because its 1p cheaper. Ironically probably costing them more in extra fuel in the process.

I bought it last week when it was 107.9p a litre. When I stopped at at 1 litre it was showing 108.0p. Would I have had grounds to complain and get the difference made up for free or get a refund on the difference?

That was at Sainsburys. Will try it at the 1 round the corner today and report back.

I only fill up at Shell, even though it's usually a few pence more than the supermarkets. I even drive into the next town, past Asda, Sainsburys and Morrisons purely to use Shell. How's that for elite

Hope you're not being serious, with regard to the first two
Lines? Was a post going round on Facebook similar to this recently with people complaining saying was a conspiracy people posting were thick as shit. They couldn't comprehend that maybe, just maybe it was exactly 1.00 litres

Yes it was exactly 1.0 litres, and the price on the digital screen was showing 108.0p when it was being advertised as being 107.9p per litre.

Piss take really.

At 0.99litre, the price was 107.9p. One more click and they both went up to the above.

How?

There aren't enough figures after the decimal point on the top display to show that.

If it said 1.79 it would be £1.79, not 107.9p.

It is exactly 1litre of fuel. 1.00 is 1litre.
