That's the US based Tuner I mentioned in my post.
He also now does a PC based Flash Tuner that you can DIY much like a Bluefin (but without it all being handheld)
It's who I will be using for mine if I keep it much longer, I can go straight to Stage 3 with my current setup, which would be nice.

Had a few of them in at work with stretched chains, bit of a nightmare of a job to do. Also done quite a few oil level sensors on them, the sensor sits in the sump and the subframe needs dropped to remove the sump, not a bad job just time consuming for what it is!
Drove a few of them and the go well, lovely comfy seats as well. I personally wouldnt own one as its not my cup of tea, alot of car for the money though!

Only you will know that. Every car suits everyone else different. I wanted a fast lazy family car that wasnt daftly expensive to run and abit away from the norm. Did a couple of trackdays in mine and it held its own. Alltho it is no hot hatch in the handling department

This is what my predicament is.... I have my let mk2 cav and a vectra b estate as my daily at the moment amongst other shite there the two that are taxed mot and insured and I use lol, I'm considering stepping down from two cars to just one but one that is practical and quick too, always had a soft spot for the Vxr vec so that's what it'll be, I can afford to buy the vectra and keep hold of my others but ideally I'll want to sell them as I don't want even more cars it's pointless. When I use my cav I love it but it's rare that I use it lately, I'm worried that using a vec Vxr as my sole vehicle I'll become bored quick and will no longer have something to get out the garage for a quick blast to put a smile on my face, if you get me lol

I was in a similar position. Had a let corsa and a daily. Hardly used corsa so sold them both to buy the vxr. Said i was only gonna keep it a year but had it for nearly 3. Had to sell it in the end as my missus went part time due to kids. And i was paying for most house bills, my car and running her clio 182 for her so we needed to free some money up.
Id still have it now if i could.
Untill then i will just sob in my diesel saab lol
I still went for a blast in the vec. They are a genuinely fast car. It wont be as engaging as your toys but it wont tire you out either for day to day.

I've had mine off the road since October due to being too busy to get it MOT'd etc.
I miss using it. Especially with the decline in fuel costs recently!
Will hopefully have it back out and about in the next few weeks, then I'll be happy again.
I would consider keeping the LET Mk2 and binning off the Vectra B in your position...
The VXR is a laugh, but it is a big heavy car, and isn't going to be as raw as your Mk2 probably is.

Red one?
Do it. Cav is cool but won't be as usable or capable. Easier to sell on as well.

Old man had a 9-3 Aero 210 (2.0t) and around the same time I had a Vectra C 2.2 and the Saab was 10times the car the Vectra was. Felt superbly built and even though it was just the 2.0t it went very well. Laggy but as soon as it came on boost it just took off.

I'm kind of in a similar place! Baby due in two week just got on the property ladder and making a huge jump later this year to leave a very good job and have a pop at a business offer iv been made so just don't know if I'm going to have time for it any more maybe it's time for someone else to enjoy the cav and the vectra will be a good substitute as it's comfy for daily use but still had the fun factor albeit not as much as the cav.
In regards to raw ness the cav is rather brutal!! Allready been told under no circumstances is the new family addition to ever go out in it lol so there's me thinking it's going to get even less use that I would like I'm just finding the idea of getting rid of it hard...... Sad I know

Stepdad runs an indipendant saab garage round here he had one of those 9-3 2.8 turbos Abbott tuned Aswell it was rapid! Lovely car couldn't fault it, they just too much like a normal 9-3 I know the vectra looks not a lot different from a povo model but the saab is near impossible to tell the difference (to the untrained eye)
