Yeah totally agree.

I'm dissapointed with the mk3 FRS and certainly will not be selling my mk1 FRS or my mk2 FRS 500 anytime soon now! The front bumper as too much plastic like something from the Early Learning Centre

Exactly that. Gone are the days of Ford throwing money down the drain.

One car for all markets is their new strategy and it appears to be working very well.

It doesn't look aggressive enough to be an rs. If people wanted a toned down version for a zetec s or an st . It's ok wanting to reach out to everyone but it's not like people don't have a choice of boring fords to go for. People wanted the rs to stand out but this is plain and IMO boring.

Was down at for college the other week and it's been 100% confirmed there will be no fiesta RS ... Not for the foreseeable future anyway

As Ben said, when the last Focus RS came out they said they'd never be making one again.

5 doors? Sapphire Cosworth, MK2 RS2000
No wide arches? Sapphire Cosworth, MK1/MK2/MK5/MK6 RS2000, MK3 RS1600

Sapphire was just a Ghia with bits bolted on, as where previous RS's. I'd say only the Escort Cosworth,MK1 and 2 Focus RS where something more special (tooling, etc)

It just looks like a more gappy version of the old one, and the one before that, and an astra..

To be fair, only the escort cosworth, mk1 and mk2 focus rs' and escort Mexico had wide arches, everything else had standard wings with plastic trims, if anything.

I think i'd be rather torn between this and the Mustang if I was in the market for either.

Hard choice to make. To say the least.

V8 mustang will be a fair few grand more expensive.

Ecoboost is a better bet for UK roads.
